Jessie Benwell
Marden Calisthenics College, SA
Jessie is entering her second year with ACTC, continuing to build on her impressive Calisthenics career. Starting the sport at just three years old, she has achieved significant success both in South Australia and nationally. Highlights include being crowned the BBE Diamond Graceful Soloist Champion in 2020 and consistently placing in the top 3 in ACF National Solo and Graceful competitions, as well as a 3rd place finish in the 2024 RSSS Ballarat Eisteddfod Solo competition. She is also a six-time CASA Graceful/Solo State Champion.
In 2025, Jessie looks forward to working with new teammates and coaches from across Australia while continuing to work with teammates from 2024's Ensemble. She dreams of a future career as a Cosmetic Nurse or a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
Jessie’s idols include Sophie Hamden, and her favourite move is the change-leg straddle. Her favourite foods are sushi and pork belly bao buns, and outside of Calisthenics, she enjoys spending time with her friends and boyfriend, going to the beach, and playing with her mini sausage dog, Fletcher. Her favourite movie is 'Hannah Montana: The Movie', and her go-to book is 'It Ends with Us' by Colleen Hoover.
