Ruby New

Ruby considers being part of the ACTC 2025 Ensemble one of her proudest Calisthenics achievements, along with placing 4th in the CAWA 20+ Years Open Solo Competition for two consecutive years. She is excited about the opportunity to perform with a talented cast at ACTC, push the boundaries of the sport, and bring innovative performances to audiences across Australia. Ruby is also looking forward to traveling, growing as a performer, and creating lasting memories with her teammates.

Outside of Calisthenics, Ruby works as an early childhood teacher, a role she finds rewarding and fulfilling. She loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, and embracing new adventures.

Her favourite indulgence is a sweet treat, and her favourite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. At home, Ruby enjoys the lively company of her Weimaraner, Lola, who is full of personality.
